This year, the 52nd edition of the beautiful Christmas market will again be held at the water tower in Mannheim, on the square in front of Friedrich Kunsthalle. The atmosphere is particularly cozy and romantic, with the imposing water tower as a background backdrop. This water tower is considered one of the most beautiful Art Nouveau buildings in Germany and is also an iconic landmark of Mannheim. For visitors who come by car, there are several parking garages in the immediate vicinity of the Christmas market, such as Dorint on Rosengartenplatz, just a minute's walk from the Christmas market. Travelers arriving by train can reach the Christmas market in about 5 minutes on foot from the train station.
The Christmas market itself offers a traditional Christmas experience with regular Christmas stalls often selling local products and typical Christmas gifts. Directly opposite the Christmas market is Mannheim's main shopping street.
At the Mannheim Christmas Market near the water tower you will find all the classic elements of Christmas: beautiful Christmas tree decorations, an extensive selection of nativity scenes, arches and Christmas pyramids, wooden Christmas figurines and glass, as well as a range of candles, lanterns, lights and poinsettias. The scent of pine forests, incense and essential oils contributes to the overall Christmas atmosphere and contributes to well-being around the Christmas tree.
