The Faro de Ses Salines, or the Ses Salines Lighthouse, is an iconic lighthouse located on the southern tip of Mallorca, on the Santanyi Peninsula. It is one of the most visited sights in Mallorca because of the beautiful view of the Mediterranean Sea and the nearby nature reserves. The lighthouse is about 39 meters high and was built in 1861. It originally served as a beacon for ships that passed through the Strait of Gibraltar, but now it serves as a tourist attraction, offering visitors spectacular views of the sea and coastline. To reach the Faro de Ses Salines, visitors must take a short walk from the parking lot. There are several viewpoints along the way where visitors can enjoy the view and take photos.
