De Veteraan Erica - Beer brewery

In 2014, four avid beer lovers combined their passion and founded Bierbrouwerij de Veteraan. Located in serene Zweeloo, in the province of Drenthe, this brewery had its origins, and to this day beer is brewed at this location with traditional craftsmanship. The brewers use a strict selection of exclusively natural ingredients, with only the very best grains, hops and other components getting the honor to shine in their beers.

The various beers from Bierbrouwerij de Veteraan have each with a unique character and flavor profile. The recipe is strictly kept within the walls of the brewery, and only the brewers are privy to the secrets of the brewing process and the recipes of all their beers. This makes the Veteran's beer truly unique; nowhere else will you find the same recipe as the one we use. We therefore cherish a proud feeling for the products we bring into the world.

The name "De Veteran" arose from a creative inspiration of the founders. One of them is a war veteran, while the other three qualify as 'veterans' in their own way. can be considered as found in the dictionaries. The main goal of our brewery is to produce as much as possible to surprise people and delight them with our excellent beers. We strive to offer a range of products, and De Veteraan is constantly evolving. We still spend a lot of time and energy experimenting with new recipes, which are only released once they have been refined down to the last detail.
