| The Hortus Nijmegen has two gardens, the Botanical Garden and the Tea Garden. There are 586 different plant species and 7 events to view throughout the year. The gardens are separated by the Beukenlaan. Both gardens also border the grounds of the University and the railway line to Mook. Tea garden< span>In the Tea Garden you will find, in addition to flowers, a large hill with an insect hotel, beehives, a herb garden, a part with Australian plants. Two succulent tables have been set up in the greenhouse. Drinks and snacksThe terrace under the large white-yellow parasol is an ideal place to enjoy a cup of coffee, tea, cake and juice with a view of the garden, and there is also delicious ice cream for sale. And the Parasol is – by its recognisability – an ideal place to meet up. If the weather is less than ideal, you can also go to the attractive greenhouse for this.
