Internationaal Ballonfiësta Barneveld Barneveld - Balloon festival

The Ballonfi'sta will take place again this year from 16 to 19 August 2023. During the event, 25 hot air balloons will take off, in addition to the 'regular' balloons, there are a number of special shapes to admire every year! These special balloons steal the show every time. Laser shows will also be held again this year.

Fairytale and impressive: laser show and the Nightglow

An impressive performance awaits at the end of a great Balloon Fiesta evening. It has now become dark, but it is clear that something is still to come. Suddenly beams of light appear in the air, music sounds and the laser show follows like an explosion of light. All kinds of colors burst, brush over the heads of the audience and reach for the trees on the Koeweide. You will be amazed: the play of light is sometimes slow and sometimes very fast.

Meanwhile, the balloons for the Nightglow are inflated. This is the real, absolute highlight of the evening. There are about seven to eight balloons in a neat row. They don't rise, but the burners do turn on to the rhythm of the music. The lasers jump over the balloons. A soft, orange light, in combination with the sound of the burners and the music, that is a beautiful sight! There is always a special atmosphere about the site, because this spectacle is a recurring highlight and continues to fascinate. The show guarantees great memories and fantastic photos.
