Kunsthal Rotterdam, in a striking building designed by the Rotterdam office OMA/Rem Koolhaas, was opened in 1992. Since then, the Kunsthal has shown culture in the broadest sense of the word, from painting to fashion.
ExhibitionsThere are always several exhibitions – large and small – on display simultaneously, from old masters to contemporary artists, from innovative designers to committed photographers. Guided tours of the main exhibitions are available in Dutch, English or German, for a maximum of 20 people. Architecture tours can also be arranged (on request). Several guides are deployed for larger groups. The Kunsthal café is located at the bottom of the Kunsthal, for a snack or a drink.
AccessibilityKunsthal Rotterdam is located in the Museum Park, in the Museum Quarter. It is about a 5-minute walk from Leuvehaven metro station, tram lines 7 and 8 stop nearby. You can park in the Museumpark parking garage. |
