Openluchtzwembad De Dompelaar Groot-Ammers - Swimming

Swimming pool De Dompelaar is a cozy small-scale outdoor swimming pool just outside the built-up area of Groot-Ammers. The swimming pool consists of a competition pool of 25 x 15 meters with six lanes. The shallow part is 1.10 meters and the deepest part is 2.20 meters. The pool has a slide that is thirteen meters long and a diving board that is one meter high. There is also a so-called lazy staircase to make it easier for the elderly and disabled to enter the pool.

For the young children there is the instruction pool of 5 x 12 meters with a span>maximum depth of 0.90 meters. For the little ones there is a beautiful paddling pool with a playhouse. The depth of this pool goes from 0.20 meter to 0.40 meter. These pools are surrounded by parasols with cozy seats and picnic benches.

The pool has two large sunbathing areas for relaxing and enjoying the sun< span>to enjoy. The first sunbathing area is in the turn of the cash register building and is completely shaded by trees. On this sunbathing area there are various play equipment, including a nest swing and climbing frame. The second sunbathing area is adjacent to the competition pool and is completely in the sun. There is an air trampoline and a volleyball net on this sunbathing lawn.

There is also a catering shop where you can get an ice cream and various drinksand buy some food.
