Before lighting the Easter bonfire is another local tradition: A procession through the village where people walk hand in hand with eight ''Poaskerls'' walking at the beginning of the procession. < div>According to tradition, these are young men who say goodbye to their youth for good. The procession takes about an hour and goes from the village to the Easter meadow where the Easter fire is lit in the evening. A fun and special tradition to experience. |
