Botanical garden ''Den Botaniek'' is a botanical garden located in the heart of Antwerp. The garden was established in 1825 and has since attracted many visitors from all over the world. It is one of the oldest and most respected botanical gardens in Belgium. The garden covers approximately two hectares and has an impressive collection of more than 2000 plant species from all corners of the world. There are several themed gardens such as a rose garden, a herb garden, a bamboo garden and a Mediterranean garden. In the center of the garden there is a pond with water lilies and a beautiful fountain. The garden offers not only an aesthetic experience, but also educational programs and workshops for visitors of all ages. There are guided tours, workshops and activities for children to teach them about the different plants and their characteristics. |
