The Vierdaagsefeesten in Nijmegen is the largest accessible event in the Netherlands and shows the whole of Nijmegen what it has to offer: choose from more than 1000 performances< /a> divided over as many as 40 different stages. All kinds of genresAt Onder Other Valkhof Festival, De Kaaij, Smaakmarkt and Ramblas there are many new names to discover for real music lovers in the genres rock, pop, indie, singer-songwriter, stoner, jazz, latin, garage, punk, or rock 'n roll. You can also go wild on electronic dance, techno or house music at the Vierdaagsefeesten. On Wednesdays, the city turns pink and the festival of acceptance and diversity is celebrated. LocationsMost organizers return after three years, but at a number of locations you will find new stages. The Kronenburger Park, the Waal Park (near the Flower Coat of Arms), Kelfkensbos, the Bloemerstraat and the In de Betouwstraat will be given a new meaning. This year a stage will appear for the first time on Ganzenheuvel (crossing between Hezelstraat and Houtstraat). In the Kronenburgerpark you could 7 editions enjoy Otis Park. You will find Otis' jazz programming this summer at various other locations in the city, but the Kronenburger Park will now become Hubert's site in collaboration with Subcultuur, PAAK and Bijsmaak. The Waalpark has been the site of Hennes Latin Stage for the past 14 editions. Now the adjacent Valkhof Festival is expanding with a new stage, called 'Bloem'. With this addition to the flower coat of arms, the spectrum of this discovery festival broadens even more towards jazz, soul, funk and music from all corners of the world.
