Vue Gorinchem - Cinema

According to the information that can be found on the website of the Van der Valk Hotel, the new Vue cinema will only open its doors in the autumn. This news comes as a disappointment, as the original plan was to open the cinema in the spring. The city of Gorinchem has not had a cinema for a while, after the Vue cinema on the Appeldijk closed permanently on January 6.

However, there is good news, because Van der Valk has planned an open house on September 15 , starting at 6:00 PM. During this event, the new cinema halls will already be on display. Unfortunately, an official opening date has still not been announced by the hotel. During the open house, visitors will have the opportunity to see not only the new cinema, but also the casino and the Weleda City Spa, which is located in the same building.

For residents of Gorinchem who would like to watch a film , it will wait for a while. Even the popular movie Barbie can only be seen outside the city limits at the moment. When the cinema on Appeldijk closed, it was announced at the time that the new cinemas at Van der Valk would open their doors in the spring.
