It is possible to play both pool and snooker on a pool table. As mentioned earlier, only the size of the table is different. Snooker is usually played on larger tables.

Player one must play number one through seven in holes (the solid balls). While player two has to play number nine through fifteen. Snooker is somewhat similar to pool. The biggest difference is that snooker uses a larger table. The balls are also smaller and lighter, making the game more difficult to play. Billiards is a collective name for the games of pool and snooker.
