Zoo Almere Jungle is a zoo located in the city of Almere in the Netherlands. The park has an area of approximately 4 hectares and is home to more than 300 animals of different species. What makes Almere Jungle so special is that the park focuses on helping animals in need. The animals that live in the park often come from poor conditions, such as illegal trade, abuse or neglect. Instead of leaving these animals to their fate, Almere Jungle gives them a second chance at a good life. The park has different areas where the animals can live, such as the jungle, the savannah, the swamp and rainforest. Visitors can explore these areas and see the animals up close while in their natural habitat. Some of the animals found in Almere Jungle include monkeys, leopards, snakes, birds and reptiles. Some lesser-known species can also be found, such as skunks and armadillos. The park staff are very passionate and knowledgeable about the animals they care for, and are always happy to answer questions from visitors. |
