Bouldercentrum RijnBoulder Arnhem - bouldering

At RijnBoulder we also think of the youngest boulderers. Children from the age of 4 can climb and clamber together with an experienced parent or caregiver in our special Kids Zone. RijnBoulder offers the most square meters of bouldering fun in the Netherlands! Moreover, in our center there is Pizza Bar + Grand Caféé La Rocca, where we serve delicious wood-fired pizzas and fresh focaccias. Our unique bouldering garden is open in the summer, so you can boulder outside even when the weather is nice.

Upon entering RijnBoulder you will be immediately welcomed by our cozy catering facility with a fireplace and a wood-fired pizza oven. As you continue, you pass the counter and spacious, clean changing rooms, to the first bouldering blocks. On the ground floor you will find climbing and scrambling options, as well as training facilities.

To go to the first floor, you can take the stairs that go straight through a bouldering block , or you can even climb from the ground floor to the first floor! On each bouldering block, the different difficulty levels of the bouldering problems are indicated with different colors, as is usual with indoor bouldering.

You will also find the climbing center within a 250 meter walking distance. Mountain Network Arnhem, with walls up to 17 meters high for adventure for young and old.

At RijnBoulder you can not only go inside, but also outdoor bouldering. We have 4 bouldering blocks with different levels of difficulty, indicated with tape. Our route builders regularly update these boulders, which can also be found on toplogger. The bouldering garden opens every year around mid-May and is available during the opening hours of RijnBoulder. The exact opening date depends on the weather. The bouldering garden is closed in winter.

La Rocca offers coffee and tea from Peeze, an extensive selection of beers and drinks, and delicious pizzas and focaccias under an industrial and modern roof. The wood-fired oven is the pride of our restaurant and is used by our pizzaiolos to make the tastiest creations. We also have a spacious bar, a children's corner and of course a beautiful view of the climbers in RijnBoulder.

Everyone aged 6 and over is welcome to come and boulder with us. Children up to 11 years old can have fun climbing and clambering on our large ground floor, accompanied by a parent/guardian. Bouldering is also a great option for children's parties, especially in combination with our 'Share your Pizza' package ( or fries), which makes it easy for parents and grandparents. Of course there is always an instructor present.

The mountain sports shop in RijnBoulder has a wide range of bouldering items. We have no fewer than 14 different models of climbing shoes from the renowned Italian brand LaSportiva in stock. In addition to a wide choice of climbing shoes, you can also purchase puff bags and climbing clothing from us.

The mountain sports shop at Mountain Network Arnhem around the corner is also well equipped with climbing and mountain sports equipment. Here you will find, for example, a lot of hardware for climbing, adventure climbing and ice climbing.

In the bouldering center, with the wood-fired pizza oven in the neighborhood, we have a sporty group room/meeting room. This space covers 25 m² and can accommodate approximately 15 people. It has a spacious atmosphere and offers a view of the sporting activities in the bouldering center.

This space can be combined with a group package and is suitable for various events, such as family gatherings , birthdays, exhibitions, meetings, and so on. You can rent the space with or without catering. We can provide coffee and tea, lunches, drinks and pizza dinners in the room.
