The Public Estate of Son Real (in Spanish "La Finca Pública de Son Real") is a large nature reserve in the northeast of the island of Mallorca, Spain. The area covers more than 300 hectares and includes a variety of sand dunes, forests, marshes and farmland.
The area has a rich history, dating back to prehistoric times. There are several archaeological sites, including the remains of an ancient settlement from the Talayotic period and a Roman necropolis.
Today, the Public Estate of Son Real is a popular destination for hikers, cyclists and nature lovers. There are several marked trails that run through the area, ranging from short walks to multi-day treks.
The area also has several beaches and coves, including Son Real Beach and Alcudia Bay. These are popular with swimmers, snorkelers and windsurfers.
