Mambo Beach is the most popular beach on Curaçao. On this white sandy beach you will find sunbeds and beach bars all over the beach. Around the beach are several resorts, shops and restaurants. The water on the beach is surrounded by stones, which gives you extra warm and extra calm water. Also very suitable for swimming with children. There are many nice spots for photos on the beach itself. You will also find the well-known swings. The beach is less beautiful for snorkeling than other beaches. This is due to the sand that sticks with the lesser current and that there are fewer fish. If you would like to snorkel, we would recommend Playa Grandi, for example, where you are guaranteed to see turtles. Or one of the other snorkel spots. In the evening the beach is always lively at the beach bars because many people from the resorts go to the beach here for a while. There are also various places with (live) music and entertainment. On the beach itself you pay an entrance fee, there are people walking around who sell tickets. You also have to pay for the cots, which quickly makes 10-15 euros per person to sit on this beach. You can then park for free behind the beach. |
