The Nieuwe Kerk in Delft is a church located in the heart of the city. The church was built in the 14th century and has since become an important historical and cultural monument in the Netherlands. It is best known as the final resting place of Willem van Oranje, the founder of the Dutch Republic.
The architecture of the Nieuwe Kerk is impressive, with its high Gothic arches and imposing tower. The interior of the church is equally impressive, with beautiful stained glass windows, a large organ and numerous statues and paintings.
One of the main attractions of the Nieuwe Kerk is the royal crypt. Members of the Dutch royal family, including William of Orange and Queen Wilhelmina, rest here. The crypt is not normally open to the public, but can be seen during special events and exhibitions
