The Sint Janskerk in Gouda is a historic church known for its striking stained glass windows and impressive architecture. This Gothic church dates back to the 15th century and is one of the largest churches in the Netherlands.
One of the biggest attractions of the church are the 72 stained glass windows that adorn the church. These windows are breathtaking and depict a wide variety of biblical stories, historical events and portraits of the kings and queens of the Netherlands. The most striking window is the giant Gouda Glass window, which is more than 22 meters high and shows more than 100 biblical scenes.
In addition to the stained glass windows, the Sint Janskerk offers also a beautiful architecture, including a tall tower over 75 meters high. The inside of the church is richly decorated with works of art and statues, reflecting the rich history of the church.
