Frequently asked question about pool

Can I play snooker or billiards on a pool table in addition to pool?
It is possible to play both pool and snooker on a pool table. As mentioned earlier, only the size of the table is different. Snooker is usually played on larger tables.
How do I hold my cue correctly?
Place your hand on the very tip of the cue (where the ball is going to hit the cue) then place your hand back about 10 to 12 inches. Make a fist with your front hand and place it on the table. Spread your pinky, ring, and middle finger, while keeping your index finger retracted. Lift your index finger and slide your thumb to form a loop. Finally, place the cue through the loop, keeping the tip of your thumb pressed against the tip of your index finger.
What are the rules of pooling?
Pool, also called 8 Ball, is played with the cue ball. The game is usually played one against one, but it is of course also possible to alternate with other players. Player one must play number one through seven in holes (the solid balls). While player two has to play number nine through fifteen. The player who holes all their balls plus the 8 Ball (black solid ball) first wins.”
What is the difference between pool, billiards and snooker?
Snooker is somewhat similar to pool. The biggest difference is that snooker uses a larger table. The balls are also smaller and lighter, making the game more difficult to play. Billiards is a collective name for the games of pool and snooker.

With one eye closed, aim the blue chalked tip at that one spot on the ball. One, two….KUCH! Argh! It's always the same one that ruins your pool skills. Anyway, find a pool center near here. Plenty of choice!
