Mooie plek om te wandelen, wel relatief klein ten opzichte van andere plekken. Ondanks dat de snelweg en het spoor er vlak aan langs zit niet heel erg storend. In de zomer wel druk met recreërende mensen.

Een erg mooie locatie om te zwemmen en snorkelen. Het water is schoon, zonder troebel en je kunt vanaf de kant ook vissen zien. Genoeg plekjes om gezamenlijk of wat meer afgesloten te zitten. Geen entree en gratis parkeren. Er is ook een naaktstrand aanwezig, deze staat goed aangegeven maar ik raad aan om wel even op te letten.
Je kunt om het hele meertje heen lopen, erg handig en mooi als je bijvoorbeeld de hond mee neemt.
Prullenbakken genoeg aanwezig, wel je eigen hondenpoep zakjes meenemen.
Al met al een paar keer geweest en kan me er prima vermaken en tot rust komen.
