The Photo Museum is located in the striking industrial building Las Palmas, once the workshop building of the Holland-America Line, which was completely renovated in 2006. The location is on the Wilhelminapier on the Kop van Zuid, in the middle of cultural hotspots and other symbols of the Holland America Line such as Hotel New York and Cruise Terminal Rotterdam. Groups of 15 people or more can go with or without a tour visit the museum. It is possible to book tailor-made tours. Experienced guides, who have photographic and photo-historical knowledge, take the visitor through the museum, the exhibitions or the depots. You can choose from the languages Dutch, English, French, Italian and Chinese (Cantonese). The Nederlands Fotomuseum is easily accessible by tram, metro (stop Wilhelminaplein) and water taxi. In the immediate vicinity there is paid parking for more than 500 cars. |
